Soul Fixx: Kombucha - Pineapple Tepache
We use Organic English Breakfast Tea from India and Organic Vegan Cane Sugar from Brazil. Grapefruit and Pineapple juice is sourced primarily for fermentation purposes from Oregon Fruits. Apple Juice is sourced from North Coast apples. Finally, extracts are coming from a company in Los Angeles called Sovereign Flavors. We brew and can at our facility in Healdsburg. Our flavors are inspired from our travels and culinary background that we have polished over the years which includes going to The Culinary Institute of America and working for The French Laundry for many years.
We have deep family roots from Mexico so one of our favorite drinks growing up was Tepache. This drink really comes to life with several different spices that are mixed in. Clove and Cinnamon pairs excellent with Pineapple to make this drink very balanced. It’s a nice aperitif before or digestiv after dinner.
